About

I am an aspiring writer based in Montreal, Canada. I am a Concordia English literature student with a professional writing minor. Also, I am the Assistant Arts and Culture Editor for The Concordian, a student-run newspaper.

I am a passionate and creative storyteller with a track record for meticulous and accurate writing. I am detail-oriented and result-driven with effective communication skills which help me communicate my ideas effectively. My organizational skills keep me above my work and deadlines. I have good research skills which expands my versatility as a writer. I also have the skill to adapt my writing depending on the audience and simplify a complex concept or idea.

My experience working for a newspaper helped me perfect my writing, editing and research skills. It also provided me with the space I needed to find my writing voice and style. I learned to pitch stories and article ideas as convincing and interesting. I learn to use my creativity to find ways to express my ideas through different perspectives and in different ways.

I am looking for more learning opportunities to hone my writing skills and gain experience in journalism and the publishing field.
